Katrina's Story
At 7am this morning I was walking to work, heading east toward the intersection of High St and Carpenter Ave. I heard a loud noise to my right. As I crossed Carpenter I realized that two young men were throwing what looked to be full beer cans from the upper balcony of the 3-story apartment complex. I sped up to turn down High St and they started yelling at me, asking where I was going. Focusing on quickly getting out of range while keeping my eye on them, I ignored the increasingly vulgar things they were screaming at me. Shaken, I called the police as soon as I was a safe distance away and they said they would send a car to the residence. I plan to file a complaint with the landlord on Monday.
