Sarah's Story
I was walking back to my office from lunch around 4pm on a sunny Spring afternoon. I was leaving Casa and walking by the bench outside. I saw it coming, but I had to get by. Two drunken boys on the bench. They were heckling every woman who walked by. One asked me if I had a pen. I politely said no and kept walking. He became angry and started following me, saying things like, "But you have a bag! You have to have one!" and "Get back here! I'm talking to you!" He followed me for two blocks, before I turned around, looked him square in the face, and said "FUCK OFF! I said NO!" He looked bewildered and went back to join his friend on the bench. This is harassment. This is not okay.
